This is certainly one of the stranger emails I’ve received through this venerable website —
‘Hi Tom,
I had a very odd dream last night where I met the man of my dreams. In the dream this man called himself Cat.
At the end of my dream I asked why he was called Cat and he told me that his friends called him Tom Cat because his name was Thomas Mogford.
I told my sister and brother-in-law this afternoon who think it would be hilarious if I married Thomas Mogford and we had a double barrelled name so that I could be called Mrs Mogford-Mogg.
This invariably lead to Googling your named to see if a Thomas Mogford exists.
They have made me email you just in case on the off chance you wanted to marry me?
