Page proofs for ‘Sign of the Cross’…

The page proofs for ‘Sign of the Cross’ arrived by motorcycle courier today (basically the book as it will appear in proof form, but printed on A4 sheets of paper). The job now is to try and spot errors that can be ironed out for the actual book. Amazing to see a Word file reformatted this way. Suddenly seems like someone else’s work — which is good for spotting typos and repetitions. Already seen a number of the latter…
